Adjustments for a painting, more like photo

image painting more like photoYou can get various water color paintings by manipulating the settings on the control box. The key settings are 'curving' and 'detail'. increasing the 'curving' setting, will produce a picture more like a water color painting. But this process is time consuming and the more you increase the value, the processing time will increase, but the picture will be more smooth, and shapes will be more curvy. By adjusting the 'detail' settings, you can reduce or increase the details or colors in the shapes/objects of the picture. For a more photo-like effect, increase the 'detail' setting and reduce the 'curving'. However, reducing curving will limit the smoothening effects. If your original image is large, the 'curving' settings can be increased for a better result , without much difference from the original image. For smaller originals (dimensions below about 200px), you should reduce the 'detail' settings to improve the 'Aquarelle' effect. Similarly, for larger images, you should increase the 'detail' setting, for a better picture.

Adjusting for a more water-color ( aquarelle) effect

photo to water color (aquarelle) apaintingYou can get more water-color effect by reducing 'detail' setting or increasing 'curving'. However, effect varies according to size of original image and the shapes in it. If the original is mall in size ( width or height below about 200 px), reduce the 'detail' setting to get a better painting. But, if your original picture is large, (over about 200 px) , you should increase 'detail' for a better result. Reducing detail, can result in picture information loss, which will produce a more artifact look, but over doing this will give bad results. 'curving', can be increased to enhance roundness of shapes, and also makes the picture more smooth. However, in such a case the processing time is high and this adjustment should be done, considering your computer's speed, resources, and your own time. In short, increasing 'curving' or reducing 'detail' will increase water color effect, with some information loss of the picture. If your original image is large, the 'detail' setting should be increased for a better result and similarly, for smaller images, you should reduce the 'detail' setting for a more 'Aquarelle' effect.
